Little Lights are Shining Brightly in the St. John's Community of Faith

Advent is a traditional time of reflection and preparation leading up to Christmas Eve.  Each Sunday morning worship during the season of Advent we light a candle named for Hope, Peace, Joy or Love. 

The paper lantern or 'farolito' is a reminder that just as a small light makes a big difference in the darkness, so too, does sharing a message of peace and joy with others.  

May the light from these Advent lanterns, shining in the windows of homes across the community, be a symbol of hope and care to all.
