This film is a masterful weaving of visual and oral storytelling about the birth and vision of this movement, produced and directed by Tamar Kozlov and Alfonso Salinas. The 20 minute film includes interview segments with Syiyaya members and other supporters from shíshálh Nation and settler communities that intertwine with and overlie stunning videography of reconciliation events. The videography was taken from more recent events that Syiyaya fostered, from settler-Indigenous weaving and totem carving, to ceremony honouring residential school survivors.
