Over 40 members of our St. John's family gathered together Sunday morning for a time of spirit filled connection via Zoom.
Thanks to the gift of this modern technology (and those who could instruct and help us use it), we were able to remain in the comfort of our own homes, yet still join together for a time of worship in a virtual meeting room in cyber space.
It was good to greet one another face to face, to receive calm and reassuring words from Scripture, to be witness to a conversational-style reflection shared by Jamie and Sue.
What joy we felt in experiencing the notes of Ken's piano reaching out through the air waves to connect us all in song and in being able to share and celebrate our own stories of how we continue to experience precious moments of God's grace amid these unprecedented times.
Waves and greetings to one another filled the air! We could feel the Spirit moving in our midst in ways we never would have thought possible.
Please join us next Sunday when we gather again in this new way of "being together" knowing it's love rather than physical proximity that keeps us connected!
